GREATNESS OF SRI SARADA DEVI

SWAMI TURIYANANDA ABOUT THE HOLY MOTHER

[Swami Turiyananda (Hari) is one of the direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna. Sri Ramakrishna regarded him as a yogi. Hari was one among the youngsters who served Sri Ramakrishna during his last illness at Cossipore. When Swami Vivekananda went to the West for the second time, he took Swami Turiyananda with him. When Swamiji went back to India, Turiyananda continued his work first in New York and Boston and later in California. Due to his ill health he returned to India and spent rest of his life  in intense spiritual practices.]

"It is a news of great joy that the Holy Mother Calcutta. Numberless people will be relieved of their lives’ afflictions at her feet. Blessed is the Mother’s grace. How great is her fortitude! Not the slightest trace of annoyance about her. Day and night, increasingly people are coming, and she is doing good to them unstintingly.

You have evinced a very good attitude by placing your son at the feet of the Mother for some time. Life becomes blessed when one succeeds in dedicating at her feet one’s all,-wife, wealth, relatives and even oneself. They of themselves fulfill the desires of devotees.
